Young Professionals

The purpose of OHI Young Professionals is to create a network of young professionals within our industry and empower members with leadership opportunities, professional development, and community.

Not only do you get a chance to share ideas and your talents, but it’s a great opportunity to establish yourself as a committed member of OHI and the industry as a whole.

The mission of the OHI Young Professional Committee is to empower the network with young professionals in the Outdoor Hospitality Industry, to encourage and promote leadership opportunities, education and community awareness.

Now Accepting Mentorship Program Applications​ 👯‍♀️

You asked, we listened. We’re officially launching our pilot mentorship program: the Rising Leaders Mentorship Program! If you’re interested in participating, please submit an application through the link below by August 30, 2024. The following time commitment is necessary for this program:

  • One hour kick-off meeting in September (virtual)
  • One hour monthly meeting with your mentor (virtual)
  • In-person meeting with mentor at OHCE (optional but strongly encouraged)

This program is currently in a pilot phase, and we will only be matching 5 mentors/ mentees. However, we intend to expand it next year!

OHCE® Volunteers Wanted ✋
Want to get even more involved at OHCE®? OHI is ISO volunteers for OHCE®! You will be responsible for scanning badges before general sessions and breakout sessions sessions, as well as being the hype team for OHCE®. Volunteers will be assigned shifts for each session. Each volunteer will be required to attend a short virtual training in October as well as an in-person training on Sunday, November 5.

You will receive a code to attend OHCE® at a discount if accepted as a volunteer. If you’re interested, please submit your information through the link below by September 25, 2024.
