Capitol Hill Experience

March 27, 2025 Optional Add-On Session

All attendees are invited to participate in this add-on session at no additional registration cost. Space is limited and participants will be determined based on strategic needs at the time of the event.
The Capitol Hill Experience will take place on Thursday, March 27. This is an opportunity to learn more about advocating at the national level. Each visit that OHI® makes to Capitol Hill is strategic in nature, and this one is no exception. With that in mind, we will be reviewing applications based on the most important issues to address and specific legislators to target.

The Maryland Association of Campgrounds’ (MAC) annual meeting will take place the same week in the same location on-site at Cherry Hill Park prior to OHI®Connect. All MAC members are encouraged to attend both events for a unique shared experience for outdoor hospitality businesses.

Mike brings 30 years of hospitality industry experience, specializing in operations, sales and marketing, and executive leadership; a seasoned speaker and facilitator, he has presented at numerous industry conferences, including OHI’s Innovation Summit and OHCE®, and serves as an instructor for AGA Glamping University.

Terry Munoz – Consultant, Campground Consulting Group
With over 36 years in the Outdoor Hospitality Industry, Terry has held leadership roles in property management, development, consulting, and training; a pioneer in glamping, he has managed top-tier RV resorts, developed award-winning properties, and is a frequent guest speaker at industry events.

Tim Murphy – Outdoor Hospitality Marketing Consultant, Influence Digital Agency, LLC
An alumnus of Ohio Northern University, Tim is the owner of Emberglow Outdoor Resort and a graduate of the George O’Leary National School of Outdoor Hospitality; a leader in the Outdoor Hospitality Industry, he has served as a CARVC board member and marketing chair while leveraging his experience as both an industry representative and long-term client to provide valuable insights.

Dogs/pets are allowed ONLY in RV sites, in Glamping Pods #108 and 110, and in Premium Log Cabins #1, 2, 4, 8, 9, and 10 ($25 per night per pet fee applies to cabin and glamping pod stays, tax not included). Pets are NOT allowed in any of our tent sites or in any of our rental units other than those designated as pet-friendly. Pet owners are expected to abide by all policies described in the Cherry Hill Park Code of Conduct. Guests with unreported pets in rental units will lose the full amount of their damage deposit.

Cancellations

In the event that you register, but can no longer attend, refer to your confirmation email and click “modify registration”.  You will be prompted to enter in your confirmation number (provided in the email), and you will be taken to the confirmation page of your registration, where you will find a button to submit for cancellation.  

There is a 10% cancellation fee for any cancels after 3/20.  

Non-member registrations are non-refundable.

Refunds

Refunds will be returned via the payment method used to register. Should you cancel after March 15, your request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
