OHI 20 Groups are designed to help you engage with a close group of like-minded owners and operators, aiming to improve your individual parks and the industry. 20 Groups provide the ultimate connection in the industry.
Central to the 20 Group experience is the bi-annual, in-person meetings hosted at one of the group’s member parks. This unique setting facilitates an immersive learning environment where members conduct comprehensive SWOT analyses of the host park. The feedback garnered from these sessions provides invaluable data to drive improvements, boost profits, and enhance customer satisfaction.
During these meetings, each member is expected to share detailed business information, fostering transparency and trust within the group. Through collective support and shared successes, 20 Group members work together to address areas of improvement and capitalize on opportunities, thereby elevating the performance of individual parks and the industry as a whole.
How to Join an OHI 20 Group
Joining an OHI 20 Group is a straightforward yet selective process designed to ensure compatibility and mutual benefit among members. To be considered for membership, you must:
- Be a member of OHI.
- Be a current owner/operator of an existing open and operating park.
- Ensure that your park does not compete with another group member.
- If you own multiple parks, apply to represent one park in the group, with the option to disseminate insights gained to other properties.
Once you meet these criteria, you can initiate the application process by visiting ohi.org/community/twenty-groups/. Complete the application and submit the required documentation either through the web portal or via email to ohi-membership@ohi.org. Upon receipt of the $50 application fee, your application will be forwarded to existing groups for review. While the placement process may take some time due to the emphasis on trust and compatibility, dedicated OHI staff members are available to assist you every step of the way.
