OHI's OHCE®️2023 Recognized Among Top 50 Fastest Growing Tradeshows Nationwide

Record-Breaking Success Sets New Standards in Outdoor Hospitality Industry

OHI is thrilled to announce that its award-winning Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo® (OHCE®) has again been named one of the 50 Fastest Growing Tradeshows in the country by Trade Show Executive Magazine. This prestigious recognition underscores OHCE’s significant impact on the Outdoor Hospitality Industry and highlights its exponential growth trajectory in recent years.

This comes after OHCE®️2023, held in Kansas City, MO, surpassed all expectations, set new records and provided unequaled opportunities for industry professionals. With a range of events and a showcase of industry excellence, OHCE®️2023 solidified its position as a premier platform for networking, innovation, and professional development.

A key highlight of OHCE®️2023 was the remarkable success of the Expo, where exhibitors reported collective sales exceeding $50 million. This milestone, verified by a third-party research firm, reflects the immense value generated at the event. From small independently owned campgrounds to corporate mega parks, OHCE® attendees seized the opportunity to enhance their businesses and drive real economic impact within the industry.

“We are honored to be recognized alongside other leading events as one of the fastest-growing tradeshows,” said Paul Bambei, president and CEO of OHI. “OHCE®️ has always served as a catalyst for innovation for our industry and OHCE®️2023 continued that tradition while setting some pretty impressive records along the way.”

In addition to record-breaking sales, OHCE®️2023 also witnessed the largest number of exhibitors in its history, showcasing more than 175 industry-leading companies, including more than 30 innovative park models and glamping accommodations. The event attracted almost 1,300 attendees representing more than 1,600 unique outdoor hospitality businesses, surpassing previous attendance records and setting a vibrant atmosphere of networking and growth.

As OHI prepares to build upon the success of OHCE®️2023, anticipation is mounting for the upcoming OHCE®️2024 in Oklahoma City. With the opening of Expo sales and a commitment to continuous improvement based on attendee feedback, OHCE®️2024 promises to raise the bar even higher, delivering unparalleled value and opportunities for industry professionals.

“We are always looking to improve upon the previous year and introduce new content, speakers and fun at OHCE®,” said David Basler, Chief Strategy Officer for OHI. “Attendees this year are going to experience an OHCE® like no other. Some approach events with an ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ mentality, but we prefer to always be improving, reimagining and surprising our attendees with unique experiences.”

OHCE®️2024 in Oklahoma City (Nov. 4-6, 2024) will be even better. Don’t want to miss out this year? Secure your booth or sponsorship at OHI.org/Expo. Attendees can register at OHI.org/OHCE
